Hi there, I am the developer of a new iphone app, called Near to Here.
it is a really great new travel tool that provides an easy and innovative way to learn and understand about everything around you, no matter where you are, world wide.

The functionality is the following: Using reverse geolocation look-up technology, the application knows exactly where you are and what interesting stuff is around you. As you pass by landmarks - both renowned and obscure, the application alerts you with the Wikipedia entry of whatever is near - allowing you to discover and learn as you wander through new or old places.

This is tremendously powerful application and we are excited to share it with everyone. We are especially excited about it because, unlike some other travel related iphone apps, this app works worldwide - it is not limited by city, country, or location.

The app will be available for download in the Apple app store within the next two weeks.
