I used to go on these trips in elementary school to PCC and yeah it is definitely geared toward tourists as they show some of the activities and "history" of the culture. IIRC there was a fake canoe ride too. An in law of mine who comes once every 2 years to Oahu basically told me that he didn't want to do anything at PCC because it was expensive and time consuming.
