They are not seat assignments, but on WN flying from SJC to BUR, I will bolt to the back of the plane, since they use rear stairs in BUR. Also, on completely full WN flights that are less than an hour, sometimes I will deliberately take a middle between two petite women - beats getting squeezed when a person of size takes the middle.
