I've earned 60 nights (gold status) from June 2009 - Dec 31, 2009. I will be earning another 20 nights by March 2010.

I've read in the forums that nights accumulation are calendar year and will restart in Dec 31,2009 <-- making it unable for me to gain Platinum Status.

I've heard that Marriott allows you to earn Platinum Status if you stay 75 nights within 52 weeks and disregards the calendar year rule.

Can anyone confirm either statement?
