The point I was trying to make is that those who hold "the ring" do not have to face the wrath of the public (or terrorists). Now the good TSO has to deal with "Joe Public" in his face holding the SOP, and the FAM -- already in a "Secret Service semi-covert" position, has to grow
another set of eyes in the back of his paranoid head.
