Quick update. Stayed at Pier 66 this past weekend. Diamond upgrade to Pier 66 suite, free buffet breakfast (was told by waiter included alcoholic beverages), offered late checkout.

Lobby and public areas renovated, modern feel. The room was very dated and desperately in need of renovation. Air conditioning old, noisy. Moisture problems from the vent in living room.

Breakfast was not very good. Chaotic, poor service. Food lacking. Bagels still frozen on buffet.

The fine dining restaurant on property was very good.
