Just booking the cheapest Y flight ex MAN rather than LHR since then the MAN-LHR bit will be on the QF code so that the return flight MAN-LHR-HKG-LHR-MAN will give you the required 4 segments. Fares from A$470++.

The alternative is to fly LHR-SIN/HKG/BKK and then take a cheap qualifying Jetstar flight.
