I agree. I enrolled in programs for CX, BA, JAL and checked the availability frequently. It was my wishful thinking that maybe the AAgents would be able to access more that wasn't shown to the public.

Regarding AA's availability - if the whole first class to HNL was open except for 3 seats, is it possible that a Z award can become available closer to the flight date?
