Technically, it's not right on the beach...more like across the street from the beach, but not as far removed from the water line as say the HR Huntington Beach, which in itself doesn't pose that long of a walk from the Hyatt side of the bridge.

Have you seen the offerings of the other major chains in the Caribbean?
There's not much from Hilton, Marriott, Starwood or Priority Club. And even then not many desirable resorts on a desirable island but say for the following few for me: El Conquistador, Curacao and St Kitts Marriott, Westin St John and Cayman and the W Vieques in 2010.
And complaining about the lack of Mexican Hyatt resorts or even a Costa Rica one is like complaining about the lack of European hotels here. Yada yada yada...
