Agreed with above. Apart from things like price, location, amenities that can be quantify, preference for hotels/hotel chains can be very subjective esp within the same-tier group. It's like I like Apple and I have to convince you why you shouldn't like oranges.

My favourite hotel chain is the Four Seasons follow closely by Mandarin Oriental. But it doesn't mean much to another person, it's just my preference.
