HAving spent many years in Muslim countries and even posting from one right now, I have NEVER EVER heard of a 1 month bonus at Eid, that is complete garbage. It IS customary to tip everyone/anyone that works for you at Eid, and this is done generally either thrugh "goods", every Muslim country has its own versions of "gift baskets/hampers/boxes/whatever" or a "bonus" which will generally be a sum of cash that is significant, but never near a months salary. Please cite what extravagant Muslim country has this custom of one months salary..........on second thought, make that a country which does not have such regs for only its own citizens, and one which has a native population of greater than perhaps 400,000 (I add this last part because god nows what the Bruneians do among themselves or the Qataris....
