Great report and pics. I enjoyed reading about your experience in South America, especially Bogota which is not a very popular destination for most Americans. Glad to learn that you got the whole room to yourself in BOG. I speak Spanish fluently yet I have never been to that part of the world, perhaps one of these days.

Interesting to note the lackluster service on MX, especially since they are now part of OneWorld. Between AM and MX, I always thought of MX as the stepsister and AM as the glamourous one. I flew AM once in F from LAX-MEX and felt that the service was really good with pretty decent meals.
