I am using a Student Amex, Amex so kind to let me have the card at first application.

I had it for a year and always paid my bill full and well advance the deadline. I wanted to get citibank's AA or student card but they require a permament address but I live in dorm.

Now the question is... can I "upgrade" or get an extra "Starwood" card? Also, any point sigh-up bonus at this moment apart from the standard 1000 points as shown in their web?

(I don't know whether Amex US know my credit history in HK so they give me one immediately)

ALSO, perhaps a little bit side-tracked: Will it be helpful if I told me I have a Plat. Master in HK?
