If there is one big inconsistency within the GPP program, it is definitely the Diamond Amenity outside of the US. It ranges from handwritten letters including fine wines and beautifully decorated cheese and fruit plates over two apples to nada, the latter being the case too often.
It would be a great improvement of the program to offer the 1000 point amenity at international properties as well, according to several dozen check in agents, ~ 90 % take the points anyway...
