I received one of these a couple of months ago; as luck would have it, just after I had booked a trip, and it seems the 50 bonus only applies to bookings made after the date of the e-mail! So I will probably miss out on the bonus, though I will easily re-qualify anyway. The extra would have gotten me just a bit closer to Life Gold..
