OTish Going to MAD via FRA ( save £60 in APD) and a longhaul seat on LAN

Hi,

I have booked my trip to SCL on Lan.com ( business)

Going on 1st Jan ; LHR-FRA ( BA) then FRA-MAD on the LAN A340 with a 90 min layover in FRA . Spending the 2nd Jan in MAD before the 0010 on 3rd Jan to SCL on the IB A346 ( fully flat beds)

I will get to try the LAN A340 seat on the shortish FRA-MAD flight

I saved c £60 in taxes compared to going direct LHR-MAD as the LHR-FRA flight on BA was booked as " Economy-Class R ( which is a Club europe fare)

The flight appeared on MMB extremely quickly and was allocated 1A on the BA flight (A319). All other flights show a window seat allocated ( per my BAEC profile)

Lan does not seem to charge a fuel surcharge from what I could tell on the taxes.

Regards

TBS

Only regret is that I do not get to try GF in T3 ( but back to GF in T5)
