The EWR AirTrain is free between terminals, and you definitely get what you pay for. They should tear it down and start over.
You obviously do not remember the 'pre monorail' days, where you waited and waited and waited for the bus to take you to the parking lots/other terminals, or as mentioned 'walked' to them. Despite their problems, I'll take the monorail over the buses anyday! And you gotta love the airtran connection -- especially for me, who can take NJ Transit to EWR easily ^
