Hsi, I'm confused.

How many points did you have in your MR account (or did you transfer them out)?

If < 10,000, how could they offer you the deal to cash in 10,000 MR points for one year of membership fees?

If > 10,000, why didn't you just accept the deal and keep the card for another year (to see what they will have to offer?)
