Booked a Family Coral Suite, upgraded to Emerald Overwater Bungalow

- How are the rooms?
Stunning! The bungalow was huge, had 2 tvs (only CNN and an old movie channel in English), very clean and had sophisticated decor.

- How is the exec. lounge?

- What was good and what was bad?
Good
The grounds are beautiful and you have a lovely view of Otemanu from the pool area if your bungalow isn't facing it. Very friendly staff at reception at check-in and check-out.


Bad
The motu location was a pain in the butt to get to and from the main island as you need to take the shuttle to Le Moana to get access to cheap restaurants and shops.

This was booked on points and we got a complimerntary upgrade. We saw about 8 kids in the pool area so I am taking a guess that the family suites were required by families. I wasn't about to ask questions, just sit back and enjoy the upgrade! As a PLT, we got a free bottle of wine, fruit platter and mineral water.

For 40k PC points, this was a killer deal! We would return to BOB if the flights from PPT weren't so expensive.
