I wonder if anybody else has shared our experience of poor lounge hospitality from US Air to Star Alliance travellers? We were disappointed enough that the Phoenix AZ lounge was closed on the Friday following Thanksgiving but it was a truly galling discover that the lounge there closes at 8.00pm! Surely there are Star Alliance passengers travelling well into the nighttime hours since Phoenix vaunts its role as an international hub? And can the hospitality managers of US Air justify this as equitable reciprocation for the service - outstandingly lavish by comparison - offered at Air New Zealand lounges to Star Alliance passengers?
