Sometimes it's even more expensive.

USA Home country. BOS - LHR roundtrip, F, $18041.66, 10940.17GBP
UK Home country. LHR - BOS roundtrip, F, $8465.78, 5145.50 GBP.

I would feel ever so slightly ripped off if I booked this from the USA.
