Unfortunately this has been going on since October 11, so I don't think that will be the case. And, no she did not the Gold for ATL-AGS segment, either. I should post the crappy ambiguous answer I got form SM.
Here is what they said:
"I just wanted to give you an update on the effective date of the
Medallion status on your SkyMiles account. This is the response I have received from our SkyMiles Elite liaison. Delta is now working in a new database system since the merge process of the SkyMiles and WorldPerks began on October 1, 2009. With this date going forward, the guidelines for the bonus miles for a change in status is "Account updates occur the day after qualification." With this in mind, if you qualified for Gold Medallion
status on October 11th, the system will update your SkyMiles account on
October 12th to the new level and the bonus miles for the next Medallion
status will start posting automatically that day (October 12th). The
old system that Delta had did not update your account until the
following month. I apologize for the confusion regarding this matter.
I realize this is a disappointment, and trust you will understand our
position. We hope you will continue to make Delta your airline of
choice."

Huh !!! What did she say??? there is no substance in the whole email, just dribble !!! Nothing explains what happend to HER !!!
