Is this Award ticket legal?

Hi FlyerTalkers! I am looking for some help regarding an award ticket I would like to book around the holidays. I just spent 200,000 miles on 2 BE tickets to Europe in May so I'm a bit low (38,400 miles or so) for future award tickets but I'd like to head back to Park City, Utah (SLC) for the holidays--and I don't want to pay an arm and a leg to do so.

My dates of travel would be 24 December outbound and 2-4 January inbound. I can travel from LEX, SDF, CVG, CMH, BNA, IND, and CMH, if need be. My question is: can I book any of these outbounds for 24 December at 20,000 miles and then book SLC-DEN at 12,500 miles on the 2nd of January, thus completing my trip? I would then purchase a one-way ticket from DEN to SDF or LEX for about $147-158 to get back here. Is this legal--even if I am completing 2 itineraries on the same day?

My trip would look like this:
SDF-SLC 24 DEC--award
SLC-DEN 2 JAN-- award
DEN-SDF 2 JAN $147.60

Would this itinerary be legal? If you come up with better itineraries using fewer miles, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
