ATL was a mess last night. Inbounds and outbounds were delayed all day. My 8:05pm departure from ATL turned to 10:30pm. Airtran does not owe for overnight accommodations due to missed connections resulting from weather. I don't understand why you couldn't access their flight info online, you can change flights via their website, or called on their behalf, provided you have all their info.

You would have been better off booking your parents a hotel room, its not Airtran's job.
