From your command of the English language, I gather you aren't from around here. I'm sure that made communication more challenging with the GAs.

In any case, your mistake was not flying with them or having someone else travel with them, particularily with a heart condition.

I've flown AirTran enouh to know they aren't as helpless or hapless as you describe.
