I would either CALL Amex to get the excluded country info or e-mail them. They answer within 2-3 days (and I'm just a mere Membership Rewards Plus Gold member.)

And if their info doesn't match their web site tell them. I have had problems with them having differing amounts for my M-R account.

I have to admit that I have never heard of this benefit. Guess it's only for Platnium
