Just got nailed by this one. Personally, this looks like a clear violation of the Wire Fraud Act (18 U.S.C. § 1343), since I received the receipt via electronic mail (a "wire"-based service). That, in addition to the JAN location taking a week to issue the receipt for the rental, is leaving a bad taste in my mouth this morning.
