Let's start talking about food again:
1) Can someone give me the skinny on Ono's Hawaiian Food vs. Helena's and other alternatives?
2) For fresh fish with casual atmosphere we really enjoyed
Nico's on Pier 38
Tried the fresh catch of the day and many times the sauce was curry based which we are not to keen about but their Furikake Pan Seared Ahi w/ Ginger Garlic Cilantro Sauce is always available after 10am.
3) I have had really bad luck getting the large prawns at the North Shore shrimp trucks (Romy's). I even call ahead of time and the only option is shrimp and small prawns.
4) Near the Kuhio Waterfront Park Waikiki hotel area, is Rainbow and that L&L on Kuhio really the only nearby lunchplate options? Me's BBQ works in a pinch since it is walking distance but there must be other options.
