Yes it still is the case that most business class paid and award fares sold by other airlines get economy class for the USA domestic flights. RTW is a major exception, not the rule.

In most QF lounges, even ones like BNE, I notice little difference in the lounges, the size is different but the offering is the same or identical. SYD and MEL have the only signficant differences that I have noticed, certainly not CNS or HOB!
There is better food & drink in the QF domestic business class lounges compared with the domestic Qantas clubs. They may or may not be less crowded depending on time of day and routes for the upcoming flights.
