They have one at the Amari Orchid in Pattaya as well, though I forget the cost. (It's substantial). Booked them for dates in last August via Expedia and there was a prominent disclosure about that (sure to confuse anyone). Of course I didn't have to pay it because I wasn't staying the night in question. They also had a special one added to bills for Christmas, though that one wasn't as expensive.

Pattaya does have a plethora of 1* and 2* places that wouldn't be putting on such an event. Though I'm no great fan of being there at that time of year...traffic could be gridlocked.
