Not to mention they are pretty reliant on the local economy. If that goes in the toilet, they may be hurt in a very bad way. The type of people who pay for full fare F on the A380 (already rare) from Dubai to NA/Europe/Etc. are (IMHO) the most likely to stop travelling or at least reduce it when their cushy job dries up.
