Just checked into the Park Hyatt Tokyo with my girlfriend. We are here for 4 nights. The first night is booked using my GF's Big Welcome free night award (she is Gold Passport basic member). The last three nights are booked on my points @ 27,000 points each for a suite. I am a Diamond Gold Passport member.

Upon arrival, we were VERY pleasantly suprised that a suite had been assigned for the duration of our four-night stay. The check-in lady said that, because I was a Diamond member, the hotel had free upgraded my GF's booking to the suite so that we would not have to move rooms the next day. And, Diamond amenities were being extended to both of us for the entire stay.

This was a BIG surprise for us, knowing how previous posters on this board have commented on the hotel's strict "playing by the rules". But, this is our third time back at the hotel.

By the way, for those looking for directions and the schedule for the shuttle bus to/from Shinjuku Station, there is actually a little card in each room which gives the times, AND also a map of where the shuttle picks up/drops off at Shinjuku Station.
