Yes, you are correct. After I posted it, I realized that someone would bring this up. So to clarify my post, I meant that they cannot force you to delete your pictures, or force you to show them what pictures you took.

They can demand all they want, doesn't mean that you must comply.

Just to note about your statement, "Anyone can request anything of you."
There may be consequences if that request is illegal, such as "I request you to give me all your money now, or I will beat you up".

I think a better more factual statement would be: "Anyone can request anything of you, but it doesn't mean you always must comply."
