edy4eva, the meal service starts pretty quick, right after the seatbelt sign is off. I didn't notice anyone around me being upgraded, but wasn't paying attention (I know it happens a lot on MEA though! )

elitetraveler, the catering out of CDG is done by AF, so yes, very similar to AF (with some modification to MEA's requirements).
