No flies on me!
As you have discovered there will be flies in all your chosen locations, but like all Aussies they have a sense of humour! However watch out for Bogong Moths at night - they are softer underfoot but some say they are edible.

Tropical strength Aerogard keep most things at bay.

P.S. Don't step on the crocs.
