Can an FA order me to delete a cabin shot on my camera?

I was on UA 937 yesterday, the 5:28 PM IAD-DEN departure. Halfway through the flight I walked back from Business to Coach and after using the restroom, took a cabin shot (without flash) from the back of the plane looking forward.

Two FAs came from the galley and said "Are you taking pictures of the airplane?" I said yes and they told me it wasn't allowed and told me to delete it. As the picture was blurry anyway and I didn't want it, I complied.

After I walked back to Business, they came up to the galley where the J class FAs were and mentioned what I had done. After that, I was treated very unfavorably by the FAs (regarding drink service) and they were downright rude when I reproted the malfunctioning electrics in my row.

I've been taking pictures of my trips for years and have never met such resistance from FAs on UA or for that matter, any US airline. Can they make me delete pictures like this? I didn't see anything about it in Hemispheres.
