I hate to throw a wet blanket on all of this bonhommie, but my conscience just will not let me rest without my saying this.

I would like to remind everyone that the terms of FT essentially advise that we are in no way to abet or promote fraudulent activity on this board and although no one is actually advocating this, as such, however, the posting of corporate acronyms that are to be used ONLY by the employees of a specific corporation that has negotiated a special rate with Marriott corporation IMHO breaches that directive from Randy.

What is more, I think that it might imperil Randy's relationship with these entities, as well.

Please do not mistake my disapproval of the above for my hearfelt endorsement of the posting of various rate codes, such as LPR, NPR (which among other things discloses the Entertainment Rate is it is available) and the like that I feel is legitimate and ought to continue. It is just that I question the ethics of those who wish to stay under a rate code that does not apply to them, but rather to a certain class of people that they are not members.

I think this reflects poorly on their character. I much prefer to obtain a bargain that is legitimate, as opposed to one that is illegitimate, and I do believe that there are still a couple of people out there like me.

Therefore, I ask that those who have listed the corporate acronyms to cease and desist from doing so, as I feel that it is violative of the spirit for which FT was created.

In addition, one might like to add the following rate code to the pile, as it has uncovered some fantastic rates for me, for some time -- as has the NPR rate code.

Kindly add D50 to the list.
