Little bit off the original topic. But should I bother gunning for executive status this year? I look through the national thread and see a bunch of complaints about how the service and cars have been going downhill. So should I grab that extra couple of rentals this year or should I go to another company where the grass may be greener. This year has been a slow travel year for me but it looks like that will be turning around shortly.

Honestly I switched from Hertz this year because of HORRID service. No, the service at National's not really that much better, but my rate's cheaper.
Having rented extensively with almost all the majors, don't expect much "greener grass" just different BS!
