There's always rumours about down-sizing LGW, but I don't think it's going anywhere soon. It's focus is mainly on the leisure routes and I do agree it is a much more calmer airport - plus all staff are on the ball there.

I guess if you like LGW so much keep on using it and help sustain the routes. If you've had excellent service from staff don't forget to let BA know.
