Indeed. Upgrading pax who you think might bring you ongoing custom in the future makes commercial sense. Someone who has flown 6 WT trips in the last 6 months would be a perfect candidate for an upgrade (and would no doubt be delighted to escape the horror of the cheap seats). A once a year traveller is far less likely to convert.
