when I took this flight last, the FA confirmed that they would be making stops in the winter, although did not specify when. If you can in any way avoid this flight, I would do so. The 767 is MUCH more comfortable. While the seats themselves are not so bad, they are slightly narrower and the 3-3 configuration is not practical [note they are trying to fit 6 seats per row where previously there were only 5 seats]. The 767 2-3-2 is much much better for such a long flight. Also, taking the the 767 increases the odds you will get empty seats on the plane, giving you potentially more room to spread out. [this was the case on my way back to CDG in October and I ended up getting a whole row of 3 in coach to myself] Just my opinion and obviously if you want to take the later flight home I understand - if it were me though and I had to do this again, I would even prefer to change in LHR on the way home (assuming the same fare) and take the 777 home. If you have to stop anyway, might as well have the comforts (e.g. PES) etc of the 777 and stopping in LHR is nicer, especially if you have status and can enjoy the BA lounges....
