FYI: International calls are billed at 3 baht/min. to the U.S.A. using the 006 prefix. The 1 baht/min rate is available using VoIP (PC, netbook, WiFi-enabled hand-set) and is taken from your pre-paid balance. Using the 009 prefix would cost 6 baht/min and 001/+1 9 baht/min to the U.S.A.

Note that this is the Chaiyo SIM which has the following requirements:


4. Users are entitled to receive a validity period of 365 days as soon as topping up from 10-1,000 Baht and such validity period can be accumulated for up to 365 days.

5. Users are entitled to receive validity period as per Clause 4 subject to the following conditions: Users agree to make a call (only to any non-toll free number) or top up at least every 90 day. If neither action has been done during the said period, the Users agree to have their account temporarily suspended for a period of 18 days and terminated such account on the following day.

6. During such temporarily suspension period, the Users may make a top-up to stay valid subject to conditions in Clause 4.
