And just where would the extra aircraft come from? It's already a busy time of year. Also flights to/from the greater LA area fill up early for the Rose Bowl regardless of who's playing. When the Super Bowl was here in Phoenix some flights were sold out even before anyone knew who would be playing.
Hasn't it been discussed elsewhere that they have the about 10 spare aircraft due to reduced utilization? Something like one hour a day times 112ish aircraft? I'm sure they could run a few extra runs if the demand were there!
