Odd thing just happened.
I booked a room at the Marriott McDowell Mountain by phone through my company travel agency, Navigant, and a few minutes later, I got an email directly from Marriott:
<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Dear MR TK-421
We are pleased to confirm your reservation with Marriott...</font>
It was an automatically generated email regarding my hotel reservation, sent not to my work email (which Navigant has), but rather to the email in my Marriott profile (which Navigant doesn't have). Is this a new feature? All reservations trigger a confirmation email regardless of source/channel? If so, COOL!
