I'm not sure if you will have to get a visa for step 4, the transit through CAI on MS. You may well end up with one, because the terminal transfer situation seems to be very fluid over there--I have been through CAI 6-7 times since 2000, and it seems like I go through a different terminal every time. (The airport has been under construction for something like 8 years.)
Jordan is the start/end point for a RTW, although this trip I don't actually plan to spend time in Jordan. The only reason I might need a Jordanian visa is if Egyptair and RJ do not have a baggage interline agreement. If that is the case, I will need to get a visa, I assume, to claim and recheck my bag. I'm planning a little pad time in my itinerary for that purpose if need be.

Hopefully the flight back through Cairo is all via the same terminal and no need for another visa.
