2. Fly from Sharm back to Cairo on MS and overnight at an airport hotel (I assume I don't need another visa as it is a domestic flight?)
3. Fly to Jordan on MS.
4. Fly from Jordan to Germany later in the month on MS, transiting through CAI (I assume no separate visa needed as no need to enter Egypt proper).

I'm looking at a fairly good deal on MS, and obviously don't want to fill my passport up with visas if not needed. The only thing is, with Sharm having a slightly different entry status than the rest of Egypt, it is a little confusing. However, paying $30 instead of $15 is really no big deal, either.
You will not get a Sinai visa if you already have the Egyptian visa. For steps 1 and 2 in your trip, you will have one visa--although it does take up a whole page, as others have noted. Jordan is another visa (a small sticker, but then the stamps in/out take up the rest of the page)--you pay for that one on arrival, too. Last time I did that it was JOD 10, about USD 14 now.

I'm not sure if you will have to get a visa for step 4, the transit through CAI on MS. You may well end up with one, because the terminal transfer situation seems to be very fluid over there--I have been through CAI 6-7 times since 2000, and it seems like I go through a different terminal every time. (The airport has been under construction for something like 8 years.)
