Why do I need to figure that out for you, when your "not to pay taxes and junk fees" demand has nothing to do with what I stated? I don't. And it remains the case -- for PMs and other SkyMiles customers -- that DL collects money prior to issuing SkyMiles award tickets. Whether its taxes, "junk fees", or any other category of payment demanded by DL, it still remains the case that DL is collecting money from customers in exchange for issuing a SkyMiles award ticket.

SkyMiles award tickets are not free -- and that also means they are not free even for DL Platinums like myself and you.
