My 2004 Platinum package T&C's say "suites not included".

And the website says "Room Upgrade" and "Room Upgrade: Upgraded accommodations at no additional charge. Based on room availability and limited to a member's personal guestroom. Not available at Marriott Vacation Club International or Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club."

I could find no reference to "finest available accomodations" as I think I have seen before - am I missing it?

I have accepted the fact that suites are not a standard perk anymore and will make elite program selection accordingly (my Hyatt Diamond has given me squat, but *wood has been nice)
