Also being a non-US based, somewhat new member here on FT i am in a similiar position. I am sure there are MR opportunities from Singapore as well, but since most people in this forum are US-based and post fares either domestic in the US or ex-US, other fares (if they are posted here at all), easily gets lost in the information flow.

I can't suggest any deals for you, but my advice is that you try to be proactive and find the MR opportunites for yourself. I have had great help from the sticky tools thread and actually found a few good deals out of my home airport using those tools. Also, you home airline alliance forum (SQ for you?) is a good alternative place to ask and get info.
I am sure others more expericenced mileagerunners here can provide better help than me too
