I think this question was raised a little while ago and it was answered that it was going to be a multi airline self service check in machines only -with no bag drop.

If there is a separate site showing " bag check in" I would love to know^

I remember ( prior to 2001 IIRC) the full check in facility was BA and for some? of the Star Alliance.

Pretty sure it was there till around 2004 as my office moved to just off Edgware Rd and it was great going straight to Paddington in the morning with the cases, checking in and dumping the bags with them and then going to work. It was such a stress free journey after work to the airport after that. Now everyone at work knows you're going away when they see your suitcase, which is fine, but telling the same story 50 times in a day gets a bit much! Next time maybe I'll just post it on the company intranet!
